Fiberglass structural systems consist of molded and pultruded fiberglass grating systems, access platforms, ladders, handrail systems, platform ID signs, and many other applications. Almost any structure that can be built in steel can be built with fiberglass by AIMS.

AIMS stringent QUALITY ASSURANCE program requires any structural system sent offshore to be completely assembled onshore and verified for accuracy and completeness. This can save valuable time and money due to the critical nature of offshore work and the difficulty of fixing problems offshore. Since AIMS fabricates and installs its own fiberglass structural systems, quality is assured throughout each phase of the process.
Once offshore, the structural system is de-crated and assembled by crews highly trained in the art of fiberglass structural fabrication. AIMS’ offshore and off-site installation crews provide the flexibility to service what it sells, and ensure the client receives a successful installation.
MOLDED FIBERGLASS GRATINGS
AIMS and Delta Composites, LLC, are partners in the manufacture of molded fiberglass gratings. AIMS’ Talon™ System has been developed and patented by AIMS International for the purpose of mechanically fixing the fiberglass grating system to the framing members of an offshore platform which are subjected to wave action. This attachment system has been designed to withstand the extreme forces exerted by storm waves, including hurricanes and typhoons.
PULTRUDED FIBERGLASS GRATINGS
AIMS’ DeltaSpan™ pultruded grating product offers excellent unidirectional strength and corrosion resistance. This product has been developed to meet specific requirements and is particularly suited for highly corrosive environments. It offers extended life and eliminates periodic maintenance and replacement costs making it the preferred alternative to conventional steel gratings.

FIBERGLASS STAIR SOLUTIONS
AIMS' molded fiberglass stair treads are offered in two varieties: the DeltaTread and the DeltaGrate FabTread. DeltaTread stair treads are cut from DeltaTread panels measuring 22-1/4” x 10’-0”. The mesh of the DeltaTread is 1” x 6” with double bearing bars at the 6” intervals so that any stair tread with a length that is a multiple of 6” is always banded.
FIBERGLASS PLATE GRATING
Many applications require a solid flooring for a variety of reasons, such as odor control in a wastewater plant, an offshore drilling mud room, or possibly for safety reasons to prevent small objects from falling through the floor to the level below. For these instances, AIMS has two solutions: DeltaPlate Structural Plate and DeltaGrate Covered Plate Grating.
Our DeltaGrate Grating Legs are used to elevate DeltaGrate High Strength Molded Grating without the need for extensive structural framing support.

FIBERGLASS WORK PLATFORMS
AIMS Safety Stands provide an ergonomic solution for technicians who are required to stand for extended periods of time. These durable stands are constructed of high-strength fiberglass and are light weight with a slip-resistant top surface. A variety of sizes are available from 18”x24”x2” up to 24”x24”x10” to provide the proper height for workers to perform certain tasks.
One of AIMS’ newest products is its fiberglass mudmat system for offshore jacket structures. Our fiberglass mudmats are 24 times stronger than 1/4” steel plate and 7.5 times stronger than 3/8” steel plate. On average, this benefit eliminates half to two-thirds the steel filler beams necessary to compile a steel system. Furthermore, since the system is non-metallic it does not require cathodic protection.
