SUMMARY
Individual sells company line of products and services in the marine environment pertaining to the oil and gas industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Incumbent meets with major oil companies and fabrication companies to provide information, advice on company line of products for use on offshore structures, in refineries and by drilling contractors.
Incumbent is to display samples of company products, suggests selections that meet customer’s needs, and emphasizes selling points of articles such as quality, utility, corrosion resistance, etc.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
N/A.
QUALIFICATIONS
Thorough knowledge of AIMS’ product line. The candidate must be a team player, and must have a positive, “can do” attitude. The candidate must have good organizational skills and must be able to work simultaneously on several projects.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Incumbent must be able to speak, read and write English fluently and clearly.
Incumbent must possess the skills to read and write correspondence for management approval. Also, the incumbent should be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and in group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
All required math requirements for graduation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Light to moderate physical demands will be encountered when travelling offshore or into the field. The candidate should be able to easily handle 75 pounds of bulk weight, and must be able to hold your body weight while swinging on a rope.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment at AIMS does move at a fast pace. It is casual, yet professional.
